Advice and support that makes a real difference
The most important thing to remember about the college application process is that it's a marathon not a sprint. Don't let rejections or self-doubt inhibit you along the way. If you stay confident throughout and remain authentic in your essays/writing, you will be satisfied with the outcome regardless.

I actually met with a lot of education consultants before I chose Edulinx. I didn't like the dynamic I had with the other college consultants, they were very controlling and it was almost like they were treating me like a little child. The thing I loved about working with my consultant, Terry, was that our relationship was very mutual, he guided me in a way that allowed me to still have my own voice, my own input in the whole application process which is really the whole point of the application; if you lose your own say in your own application then what's the point really.
The college application process is only stressful if you don’t manage it well. There are a lot of resources that can help you with that but by far the most time effective strategy is to have someone or a service guiding you through the process. Edulinx can definitely do that. There are so many things I wish I would have known looking back on the process now. It is undoubtedly a stressful time but it’s also almost a rite of passage. Keep your head up and keep applying.
The US college system considers a wide variety of factors beyond test scores. They're looking for qualities that show maturity, leadership, creativity, and long-term potential. Applicants that you're competing with might have lower scores than you, but ultimately get into better schools. That's why it was important for me to consult with EduLinx, to help me frame my total application in a way that would help me stand out.
To sum up in one word the key to getting into a top school, I would choose differentiation. Good grades and high test scores may be a prerequisite, but they do not tell much to an admissions committee. What stands out to them, of course, is what makes a student stand out from his peers. This translates into not succumbing to peer pressure; not copying what others have done, but instead forging a path unbeaten by others. At the end of the day, there is less of a race to be better than others, and more of a process to find the best self a student can be.
